IGAD CAEP and WFP hosted a side event at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan yesterday November 19th, 2024 to discuss matters food and nutrition security in Somalia. Participants at the side event jointly called for concerted efforts by all stakeholders to support government driven initiatives as the only sustainable way out of current challenges compounded by climate change impacts.
